Effie Agrafioti has studied the piano and theory, Art history and Social Sciences. The last thirty years she studies and presents the Greek music for piano all around the world. She has repeatedly given recitals and recorded in Radio Television in most European countries.

As a writer she has written four Books, two regarding the Piano, one regarding the Greek composer Aristotelis Kountouroff (ed. Panas music), and the last one regarding the Greek woman composer question (ed. Dromeas).

As she has also worked for twenty years for the national radio station,(Trito programma - ERT). At the same time she teaches the piano and writes for the “Politono” magazine and for the on line musical magazine http://www.tar.gr.
