The main body of all three movements of Concerto was written in 2000 in Amsterdam (whence the title), during a concert tour I held in Belgium and the Netherlands as a singer. The composition was completed in Athens in 2001 with the help (as regards in the parts of the guitar) of the guitarist, friend and collaborator Aristidis Chatzistavrou.
Recorded on October 2009 [With the kind support of THE J. F. COSTOPOULOS FOUNDATION] at studio SIERRA (Recording engineer: Giorgos Karyotis) and included in the double CD by the title Pictures for the sadness of the blond girls and of Eleni which was published on July 2010 by EMI Classics.
